We have arrived! Our day started early and has been very long, but we rejoice to be here and look forward to a full week. Our plane trips were on time and even had an early arrival. Our first flight to Houston offered an announcement on our behalf and mentioned Trinity and our team by name. We were pleasently surprised to meet many other teams in the Houston airport who were headed out to Guatemala, Honduras, and other Central American areas.
Our trip from Guatemala City to Zacapa was absolutely gorgeous! Our drivers were quite safe and the trip very pleasant. Once here, we checked into the hotel which has beautiful grounds and adequate accomodations. Dinner at the mission house was exceptional! Now we are tired and ready for bed. All is well, good night.

ReplyDeletetrev and i have you all in our thoughts and prayers.
so glad you didnt have a chicken bus :). Love you all, praying like mad.
ReplyDeleteFor Tammy and all, from John Chapter 1. If the Son reveals the Father to those of us who know Him; this is why you should seek to emulate Christ, so that people would see the Son in you, and in finding Him, they would come to know the Father. I pray that the Spirit would encourage you in the direction of how man was "...made in Our image, according to Our likeness" (Gn 1:26). Pray that your heart(s) would be soft, so that like a glove, the Spirit would fill you and you would move in concert with the will of the Father! Make every minute this day count as your presence in Zacapa begins to 'glow'!!!
ReplyDeleteThat had to be great to meet other mission teams heading out to all parts of the world. I am so happy that you had safe drivers. I pray that you have a great and powerful experience.
